The landscape is surprisingly flat given its name. Only those that venture forth into this arid, windswept landscape find the reason for its namesake. Towering hills jutting out of the ground as if pulled upwards by some mysterious force. The Purelakers that traveled east during the Great Migration settled at the crossroads of this region, and built a livelihood around hunting the bountiful animals of the savanna, and strategic trade.
